  Leslie is such a nice person, by far the most teacher caring teacher iv'e taken, but her class was definitely the most difficult one iv'e attempted so far. Calc III is a difficult subject but I feel she sometimes made it more difficult than it should have been. Her exams are difficult, as she doesn't post a traditional study guide, so good luck.

  Leslie as a person is wonderful, she cares about her students and is funny. However, she's a really tough grader. Her assignments are credit, no credit. You could spend time working on an assignment with 30 questions and get one wrong and receive no credit. If you don't do well with exams prepare to fail. Final is a mix of all 3 exams midterms.

  The class was okay. Homework was manageable, quizzes too, but the exams differed from the study guides. The concepts seemed basic but often times rushed and they did not fully reflect what was expected on the exam. Wouldn't recommend taking her class as she expects above and beyond and can make things unnecessarily difficult. Exams = 1/5

  I could say Leslie was helpful maybe sometimes it was difficult to understand but she tried. Her lectures are good but her tests are hard you cannot just get by. Do not be afraid to ask questions she is really nice and will do her best. Just study more than her notes and it should not be too bad.

  I have taken Leslie for two math courses, and she is the best math professor I have had. She's very organized and good explaining the material. She's also very accessible via office hours or class. She will take the time to answer your questions and reexplain concepts that might be challenging. I strongly recommend her for any math course!

  This was my first time taking Leslie as a professor and she really healed my relationship with math. Her lectures and classes are well organized / structured. Her notes are available as a pdf, which is very useful for learning and studying for her exams. Personally, she is the best math professor I have taken at CSULB.

  I really enjoyed Leslie's class at the beginning of the semester, then it just got harder. Leslie does help, but in ways that I had a hard time understanding. She is really nice but honestly would not take her again. Her lectures are good but her tests are difficult. It was hard for me to focus at time because of the class but overall OK.

  Leslie has honestly been one of the best professors I have had during my time here at CSULB. She is very helpful when approached and extremely understanding. The exams are not ridiculously hard, but they are not spoon-fed either. Calc 3 is a difficult course and I don't think she could've possibly made it any easier. Don't expect a free grade.

  Leslie's an amazing professor. Her lectures are nice because she uses a notes app, as opposed to simply writing on a white board, so they're very clear and easy to understand. Her test questions are similar to her activities and quizzes so studying those and the notes will get you a solid grade on the exams. Overall I'd recommend taking her class.

  I do not expect an easy A in any class but at least a passing grade. Leslie did not make this possible at all she is horrible at helping. She lets the class get obnoxious and joins in rather than helping like in office hours. She says homework is useless in her class yet it is part of our grade. Save yourself and take someone else.

  Overall good personality but when it comes to teaching, makes the material difficult to understand at times as steps are skipped when lecturing and activity problems may be slightly different than problems discussed during the lecture.   Leslie is one tough professor, she grades hard and doesn't really help when needed except for certain students. Her study guides before each test is just what our notes have with no examples. The only thing you can do is examples from notes that are too simple or activity problems that are difficult so you're stuck. Leslie makes the course harder.

  I was all for learning and understanding calc 3 with a good prof, but this class was nothing like this. I have been struggling so hard to even get a decent grade on Leslie's exams. It is hard to learn from Leslie since she explains everything in a broad way. She'll help, then blame it on your major. Would not recommend her.

  Leslie explains the concepts really well. However, this course is hard, so get ready to study effectively and do the practice problems, and understand the concepts, so you know what kind of things to expect. Also, ask questions in activity, and go to office hours for help. Highly recommended!!!

  Leslie's one of my favorite professor's I've had. Her class is really straightforward and she does a good job explaining the topics. It's not an easy class because the subject matter isn't easy, but there's lots of opportunities to get help so as long as you put in effort you'll be fine.

  Leslie lectures very well but notes ARE NOTHING LIKE EXAMS, she screws you over. Convinces student to not drop and gives hope but then give you the lows scores. Her phrase of picking hard major is her excuse for EVERYTHING. Do not get tricked by her personality, I took an entire week to study and watch lectures online and still failed an exam.

  Lelsie secretly screws you over, she makes and joins discord so we do not help each other. Her office hours are giving you small explanations so she can hang out with her students instead. I have never done so bad in a math class before, nice personality and good lecture. Homework and tests are 10x harder than notes.

  This class teaches you about real stuff like credit cards and mortgages which is super helpful. She's pretty rude to students and blames everything on you but honestly as long as you keep quiet ur fine lmao. Lectures help because she explains things good and you'll need to know how to do everything to do well on exams (3). Overall, okay class.

  Do not take Leslie for higher courses, you will struggle she will not go into dept on the topic. I struggled a lot when I took her, hardest grade I earned so far. She also joins and the discord which is weird. Nice person, not a good teacher, rather send you elsewhere for help. Any difficulties, says it our fault because of our major choice.

  Nice person, very tedious grader. Does not curve at all, half of the class got D's and F's first midterm. If you take her for higher classes like calc 3 expect to struggle unlike her lower ones. Her study sessions is basically sending us to other students instead. Class is mostly based on exams, final is cumulative, barely helps others out.
